Plywood People is a nonprofit building a global community of social impact leaders. Our mission is to help our community make problems go away that impact our culture, the hurting, poor, oppressed and under-resourced people. Social Impact Leaders use their unique skills and influence to create positive change and make the world better. We connect, train and immerse social impact leaders with everything they need to do more good, better.
Over 15 years of service, we have directly helped over 1300 leaders and the need in our community has never been greater. This mission is made possible through sustainable projects, strategic partnerships and generous supporters.
On Sunday, October 5th we will be hosting our annual Auction at the iconic Trolley Barn. This gathering of generous people that believe in our work is a night filled with celebration and raising funds for our important community work. For this night to be successful, we need people like you to join us.

The Theme: Golden Hour
“Golden Hour” celebrates a new season for Plywood People with an evening of purposeful gathering and warmth, set against the historic and inviting backdrop of the Trolley Barn. Inspired by the soft, radiant light just before sunset, the theme reflects moments of connection, purpose and forward momentum.
Guests are invited to dress in elevated garden party attire — a refined take on cocktail style that balances sophistication with comfort, perfect for an evening that moves between elegant indoor spaces and the beauty of the outdoor garden.

Our event is successful by the generosity of items gifted to us matched with the desires of our participants. So, if you have something awesome to contribute, please send us an email and let's make it happen. Sometimes people worry about what they can give (is it too small or too big), but we have items valued from $50 to $25,000 and participants looking for everything in between.
