A Training Experience for New Entrepreneurs and Nonprofit Leaders

We all need a good foundation to start something new.
Whether you are launching a project, beginning a company, or bringing a new organization into the world, a good foundation is essential.
Over the past decade, Plywood People has come alongside initiators like you to make their problem-solving dreams a reality. Through Plywood Foundations, you will join a community of social entrepreneurs who are taking bold steps toward a new future.
In April, you are invited to participate in a two-day, in-person learning experience. In this time, you will work with a team of seasoned entrepreneurs to work through the ten areas every leader needs to have their pulse on to launch and sustain a venture.
These areas are: honing your leadership, building a team, creating a culture, raising awareness, engaging your audience, designing your systems, managing your operations, understanding cash, finding the right partners, and setting a course for the future.
In addition to over 20 hours of world-class training, you will also receive:
A 1-on-1 mentor pairing to give you dedicated feedback
A peer-resource group to help you navigate tensions and move your work forward
A physical program guidebook to capture notes, learnings, and next steps

Investment: $800
You can join Foundations for $600. This covers all meals, materials, access to the online community Plywood+, and a free month of co-working at Plywood Place (the month following).

Efficiency - Dig into time blocking, systems, and building systems for productivity.
Cash - Create your budget, talk cash flow and consider investor options.
Leader - Wrestle with the tension of sustainability and identity.
Future - Dream about the next phase of your community.
Advisor Match
Each person will be paired with a Plywood Advisor over a 2hr Dinner. This is a time to receive free consulting from an expert on your greatest tensions as a leader.
